Whimsical and sweet, plantable paper hearts are made from post-consumer waste paper and wildflower seeds, and can be recycled after you have used them by planting them in your garden.

You will receive the 13 green and blue plantable paper earths pictured here, measuring approximately 3 inches at the widest point. These earths curled when they dried so they do not sit flat so I am selling them as seconds. Like everything else in my shop, they are made from the freshest, highest quality seeds and excellent quality card stock scraps, saturated with color.

This order comes with the following planting instructions:
In this paper, little seeds lay asleep,
Waiting to be planted in soil 1/4 inch deep.
Water well then keep moist for 4 to 6 weeks.
Until little plants come out of the soil for a peek.
Many flowers will share their colors to the max.
Like purple cone flower, red poppy and blue flax!

This paper has been made using recycled paper and more than 40 annual and perennial wildflower seeds. These seeds can be planted in conditions ranging from full sun to half shade, and in soils from sandy, clay or acidic to moist or dry. Flowers will happily bloom from the Northeast to the Southwest, gardening zones 2-8. Take a look at the last photo to see a sample of my paper sprouting!
